Some important things for you to read while you're supposed to be doing better and more worthwhile things with your life:

- Sonic Unleashed will not be good. Kidding yourself otherwise is gonna get you stuck in a cycle that you may have seen in a diagram, helpfully made by idiots who can't spell the word "triumphant".

One can whimper how it's in 2.5d (or what the fuck ever) or even rant on about how "Sonic is so gay now grrr i don't care rararar", but the fact of the matter is that you shouldn't be paying it any heed at all.

- NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams is not good at all. I'm so irritated that Takeshi "I fuck everything up" Iizuka had the balls to make this piece of shit sequel. But it is hilarious to watch retarded 14 year old girls defend it because they weren't even born when the Sega Saturn was first released.

I just... can't believe how Sonic Team managed to butcher the basic gameplay mechanics of NiGHTS into Dreams. People can whine and bleat on about "originality", but anyone with half a brain would take the arcade gameplay for the original over the ambomination flash-in-the-pan sequel shit. You barely have time to fly around the level. Especially if you want to get a better score.

I mean, what the fuck is that? As if flying levels weren't fleeting enough already - no, you have to race through it even quicker if you want an A rank.

Fuck you, Iizuka, and fuck your watered down game.

Go play Super Mario Galaxy. I can't repeat this enough... if you want a good decent game, and you're looking on any of the current gen systems, this is the way to go. Play this game. It rocks the house. No "but wah wah it's mario", just fucking play it.

- Major Project for College is coming along. Slowly, but it's getting there. Been drawing a lot of naked Lisas (main character) and dumb shit like that. Fun.

- Badass McFish is still a badass. And there's lots more satire-drenched strips of him in the pipeline. It's a nice distraction from all the tedious panel drawing and precise line stuff that I'm doing for my project honestly.

Plus, the internet provides me with enough macho rage and irritating bullshit to theoretically keep drawing this shit forever.

God help me.

- I'm thinking of re-subscribing to deviantART for a year. And maybe changing accounts. I dunno. I have a more fittingly named one lying dormant, soooo...

I've kinda been debating switching accounts on DA for a while now. I dunno. What do you guys think? Everyone has said it is pointless, but I feel that if I have another account... I can either do solely original art/comics and keep this one for fanart bullshit, or maybe just move altogether and have a better username.

In other news, I've been playing Super Mario World. It's kinda sad that I've kinda gotten to the stage where I would rate Super Mario World over the original Sonic the Hedgehog - at least in terms of gameplay.

Ah, well. I remember reading once that - pacing wise - Super Mario World is apparently more appreciated by adults, while Sonic the Hedgehog is enjoyed more by children, due to the exclusion of a World Map. And I tend to agree.

Super Mario World is also really excellently structured. Of course, nothing beats the art design of the first Sonic game, but Super Mario World feels really huge and kinda satisfying to chip away at. Sonic is more "flash in the pan" quick. You sit there for 30 minutes and you race through it (as I did on Mami's brother's Xbox360). Where as Super Mario World requires more thought, planning and back-tracking. Oh god, the back-tracking.

Anyway, art-wise, I am the busiest at the moment. I'm churning out comic pages for Monday, where I should either be presenting or tutorialising it up (I hope for the latter, but I'll probably get the former).

Oh, yes, and I do have a Valentines Day comic to show you all later. I just didn't want to rush it or whatever, just because "omg gotta upload on the day". So silly.

Hello, my dozen cousins. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Belatedly.

Firstly, I must apologise for not uploading anything of any worth for AGEESSSSS. This is a compound of going to college, getting sick of college, threatening to leave college, sorting things with college to my liking and then rushing to do my college work in the fraction of the time given.

I have now finished my prep work for the next comic project - so, as 2008 begins, expect some of that to trickle through.

What else? Well, did anyone say SUPER MARIO GALAXY FANART? No? Well, fuck you.

Ha ha ha haaaa. Seriously though, there's Super Mario Galaxy fanart on the way (including a suggestion by resident Nintendrone, Evan [link]), and lots of other good stuff that I have yet to scan and/or colour. Including Adventures of ID 2008! Oh, that will be glorious. Secrets are revealed, time is distorted... that kinda thing.

Oh, and my New Years resolution for 2008 is no more Sonic art. See y'all later. Hyuk.
